Face Tattoo
Hello hello! I had originally written this first entry as a rather dour meditation on Mike Tyson, and why I've been surprised to find myself hoping that his next few fights (which he's undertaking, by his own admission, strictly for the purposes of making enough money to pay off his debts) are lion-in-winter vindications for him: evidence that the young Mike Tyson, in whom grace and brutality met one another blow for blow, isn't dead but just lost.
Then I decided that an entry like that would be a pretty dire way of getting things underway. So, umm, hi. I'm John. I sing for the Mountain Goats and I really love cows. More on these subjects, and on a few others, in the days to come.
